Awesome Avo’s
I probably drive Facebook friends and family crazy with my constant status updates about how much I love my job. I know it may seem corny, but I really feel so blessed to be doing what I am doing. No more so than when we get to work with yummy fresh produce!
Every year Vanessa and I do work for the South African Avocado Growers Association***.
I develop the recipes, prepare and style them, and we photograph the fruit and recipes for the press releases which go out to the media.
Buttery, beautiful Avocado’s ….. what could be more satisfying than a day, scooping, mashing, slicing and dicing !
Here is one of the recipes I did, look out for the others in your favourite magazines and newspapers over the next couple of months.
And the best news of all, no more expensive imported Avocado’s, apparently our farmers are expecting a bumper crop this year !

Thanks Colleen !
Love Avo on homemade brown bread with lots of black pepper. Keep things simple as nature intended it to be. You allowed to tell the world how much youmlove your job. Not many people can really do that!
